We are CHRISTIAN

We are distinct from other world religions, cults, and philosophies. We adhere to the Apostles and Nicene Creeds, teach and follow the instruction of the Bible, and believe in eternal salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We ascribe to the statement of faith of the National Association of Evangelicals.

We are EVANGELICAL

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We affirm the deity of Jesus Christ, the virgin birth, and the atonement of sin through His sacrifice by death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to heaven, and His coming return. Jesus provides the only salvation for fallen and sinful humanity and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. We believe in a literal heaven and a literal hell.

We are REFORMED

We believe that God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1) and that He created man and woman as His image bearers in a sinless state. Due to the first sin of disobedience, all of mankind has been marred
with sin affecting all areas of human life. Because God is holy, the just punishment for sin is eternal separation from God. However, by His grace God has elected some to be saved. The substitutionary death
of Jesus atones for the sins of those whom He saves, by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-10) in Christ alone. Apart from Jesus Christ, there is no hope of salvation. He secures the salvation of those whom
He calls into faith promising an eternal heaven and abundant life.

We are MISSIONAL

Being missional is being a missionary to one’s own community in every aspect of daily living and joining God in his mission to redeem every culture and community. Local churches are to faithfully present the unchanging truth of Scripture in the changing cultural context (Jude 3, 1 Corinthians 9:19-23). In the context of community, individuals are to be missionaries in their culture.

We are INCARNATIONAL

The Church, as the Body of Christ, is to embody grace to others in humble service and love. As God became Man in Jesus Christ (John 1), so must we, the Church, steward the Gospel in our families and communities.
